Especially in the European high-end cars, there is a tendency to pursue sensitive operation touch.
In addition, with the development of automotive electrification, the number of circuits around the driver's seat has increased, so that the electronic components to be mounted need to be further miniaturized.
This time, the TACT SwitchTM "SKTQ Series", which was developed and started mass production by Alps Electric Co., Ltd., as a TACT SwitchTM for vehicles, is a small-sized product of the Alps Electric Company (SKSU series) with extensive mass production experience. At the same time as the external dimensions, it also achieves the mute and the 5N heavy-duty force and the excellent button touch for the car. Therefore, while preventing erroneous operation during driving, an excellent operational feeling most suitable for touch panel operation is also achieved. In addition, thanks to the Pre-stroke design, it prevents abnormal noise during the initial operation and is a high-end midway switch.
In the future, we will study the addition of 3.5N, 4N, and 4.5N in addition to the 5N movement force. Alps Electric will make every effort to contribute to the car to provide a more comfortable user experience.
